CLOTHESPIN DOLL CREATIONS

Clothespin Doll Creations was launched in July 2021 by artist Kimberly Carroll. What started out as a simple chilhood craft has evolved over time into what you see today. Whether a kid or kid-at-heart, Clothespin Doll Creations are made to capture the characters that capture our hearts from some of the most iconic stories, artwork, history, movies and television shows to date. What exactly are they? Great question! They are crafted using mini wooden clothespins, the old-fashioned kind, measuring 2 1/2 inches. Add some glue, DMC embroidery floss, a steady hand, imagination and they magically transform into your favorite characters. The final piece is matted and framed in a black shadow box measuring 5.75 x 2 x 7.75 inches that can be hung or free standing. Each one is intended to add quirk and whimsy to any desk, shelf or overall decor but mostly, to spark trips down memory lane prompting big smiles each time you pass them by.
